Oli  sheffield

Oli Sheffield (tenor) is steadily establishing himself in London as a young lyric tenor. He has sung with Opera de Baugé, Nevill Holt Opera Company, British Youth Opera, the International Gilbert and Sullivan Society, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he performed the role of Young John in the world premiere of Absolved Passions by the Scottish composer Dave Wishart.

He graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Honours degree from the Royal Northern College of Music where he studied with David Maxwell Anderson, and gained a Postgraduate Diploma from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where he was a Kathleen Robert’s scholar and studied with Joan Rodgers.

Oli has been fortunate to study with such teachers as Yvonne Kenny and Tim Evans Jones. He has spent time living in Berlin and most recently New York City where he worked with Trish McCaffrey and Arthur Levy respectively. Oli is currently studying with Jack LiVigni and feels incredibly lucky to be guided by such an incredible singer and teacher.

He has received coachings and masterclasses from Mark Schnaible, John Fisher, Sir Mark Elder, Roger Vignoles, David Owen Norris, Anthony Spiri, Neil Davies, Russell Smythe, Ryland Davies, Dennis O’Neill, Patricia McMahon, Peter Alexander Wilson, and Lynne Dawson.
